BSc Agriculture always remained the last priority among students while choosing a career option. BSc agriculture is a broad-based course with great potential. BSc in Agriculture is a professional degree and a 4 year-long practical course with an emphasis on 'hands-on' experience and 'learning by doing'. The curriculum is very broad and interdisciplinary which gives an in-depth knowledge of Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Agriculture Economics, Genetics, Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Humanities, and Agricultural engineering. Frequent visit to agro-based industries, surveys, and collaborative wildlife habitat studies with the state forest department are conducted to upgrade the intellectual and practical skills of the students and to keep them industry-ready. There is an agriculture farm inside the college campus to give hand-on experience to the students. Agriculture Course Overview

Eligibility criteria for admission in BSc Agriculture (Hons) require completion of 10+2 (PCB/ PCM) with 55% marks. The course is divided into 8 semesters. The four-year program aims to provide related knowledge, practical skills, and competencies in agriculture. This degree prepares students for a wide range of careers related to the agriculture industry and other allied industries.
